4月21日 Ain't blogged on here for yonks!Today didn't really start off too well...as I erm...got up late...11.30am to be precise..instead 9am. So I feel as if I have wasted a good few hours..I have been on the comp for a wee bit tryin to get some typing done which I need to photocopy onto acetate later on today or tomorrow...
Ok..jus finished that!
Oops...jus been on the fone to my sis who is cumin home frm uni today...stressed coz of her dissertation..aaah..lol..but yeah all is kewl.
I'm going to leave my boxes til 2moro and wrk on them either Sat evening or Sunday...get them done n dusted. Then sort out my notebook....got to reference everything ive done so far and add to it..plus make sure ive included REFLECTIVE THOUGHTS....hehe i keep forgettin to jot them in! Hmmm.....also evaluate the work ive done so far...take photos and mail them to friends to get feedback on them...i should do that today really...lets see i remember puttin down Saida, Pinaki and Nitin so I reckon that should be enough. Jus had a thought I could post on the TIG site and see if ppl will comment on them...feedback, advice, etc??
Other than that...my room really needs a clean. I can't find any of my art materials without making an even bigger mess. hehe...hmm...and I need to devise a plan I should stick to now til I finish b'ville. On that note I have to give in my holidays tomorrow at wrk..and I really hope I get them...otherwise I think I may struggle with my art....towards the end. Fingers crossed eh!
On top of that I am kinda nervous about my interview next week at Westminster...aaah..lol. I think I have to be more positive and just go there and get on with it I guess!
Back to art...next week I'm back at art coll n I need to discuss my plans with Terry and see what he thinks...coz I prefer my 3D work at the moment...and whether I cna expand with the boxes into something more...purchased some stretcher bars which should come by next week so that I can see if the stretched fabric panels will work well...and I will have to go to B'ham city centre one day...possibly wednesday to get sum plain t-shirts and the new isue of BULB hehe...(i shud start subscribing to it..kinda dont have the money at the mo though)...as I'm saving for a laptop for uni n summer school! They are the two main things - stretcher bars and t-shirts that I wanna work on this week and finish them..so i can re-evaluate all the work since the start of my proj and decide what I'm going to wrk towards completing....
Rite I am going to run now as it's 2.30pm and I need sum brekkie!(I know its more like brunch now!)

3月2日 Jack Johnson was AMAZING!Wow!!! Thankyou Jack for putting on a spectacular show...AMAZING! I first heard of JJ whilst reading a newspaper about a year or so ago and I remember a celebrity (Heidi Klum) saying that she would take his cd with her as one of the items on a desert island! (me too!!) I'm so glad I decided to check out his music..I love it so much..wow...its all so meaningful, mellow and awesome. I love listening to it when I'm working on my art...really motivates and inspires me.. Last Night was really really good fun...relaxing and singing along to his music...you can see how passionate he is about his music and he seems like a really sweet person! Oh yeah the support acts were groovy...I was also diggin the Sunshine and Girl I wanna lay you down Song......perfect! Hehe..Get well soon to JJ as he seems to be coming down with a cold.  Anyways well...what's been happening with moi? B'ville didn't really start off well as I had the flu just as I was about to go back...so I took the week off hoping to get better. All is well now...I guess. Since then I've been working on my art project: Journey. It started off quite well as I had lots and lots of ideas and inspiration. I thought I could illustrate how I became interested in politics. I thought of illustrating it through a documentary type thingy...lol (I know my English - grammar and spelling is going down hill!!!!)...
However I have been feeling really really low about my art for almost a month...I mean I have great ideas...but because of lack of motivation, inspiration and creavitity I've been finding it hard to express them. It really does suck because I love Bournville...seriously I do and to not like going there at the moment..is really hard.
 I know that I need to stop being negative and be more positive and jus get on with my art otherwise my work will suffer and I don't want that to happen. I've spoken to some friends about how I feel about my work at the moment...and they said it's prolly just artist's block....but lol i cant have it forever...aaaah!...lol....I was tlaking to a really good friend of mine, Saida who did give me some really useful advise...either get on with it and hope it all comes back to you...or do something completely different..unrelated to art for the day to refresh yourself then start it....hmm...I guess I have kinda of taken some their advice....

Oh I went to visit University College of the Arts, Surrey on Wednesday (I dragged Sahdya along as ma and pa couldn't come due to work!) Well travelling seemed a bit long...got the train to London Marylebone then the tube to London Waterloo...the train to Woking..then another train to Farnham....then a 15 min wlk to the campus....aaaah!...it wasn't that bad at the time but just typin it all up makes it seem sooooo long!lol....
Anyways so yeah its a small town...quite similar to Stratford-Upon-Avonbut I prefer Stratford! No offence to anyone who reads this blog...lol if anyone does. It is quite a 'white' upperclass area, I think I'd like to be with a diverse mix of cultures/ethnicities...not that I'm gonna let that affect my decision to study there. I felt that the course was quite good although it was too media orientated..but the lecturers seem really supportive.You know I had a gut instinct that it's not where I want to study for the next 3 years....so its decided I wont be applying there.
 Next in line is gonna be one of the art schools in Scotland. I think I will check out Glasgow School of Art - the Fine Art Photography course and see what its like. I do hope its worth it. Hopefully whilst I'm up there I'll meet up with some friends I made at WYC which should be great!! Also, a friend of mine from ISS is there on an exchange in Glasgow until May so I'm hoping to meet up!!
 I also found another course today...Creative Arts at Bath Spa Uni...it does sound really good..something that is my style. It's still art but you explore a lot of other areas and choose another area to specialise in...I think for me it might be photography or textiles...so I might have a look at that one too!!

Aww...you know what I've been listening to today..some Inca music..absolutely beautiful...so relaxing and soothing...hmm...really it is!
 Well I've gonna head to bed now...as I've got work tomorrow...(oh the joy!)I'm not really looking forward to it...(awww i miss my saturdays!)

Wowiee! I cant believe how fast 2005 flew by....totally unbelievable. It has been a really fun packed and inspirational year where I have also met some pretty rockin ppl and made some groovy friends! I hope to stay in touch with them all!Im so glad to have been a part of Summer School and World Youth Congress..its been AMAZING(hehe my signature word!)
...aah and I have 1 week left of Winter Break..but you know I can't wait to be back at Bournville and get stuck into my Fine Art Project..(the college already posted our theme/title - its Journey) I was kinda hmm...at 1st bt now im diggin' it and feelin' it....so ima jot some ideas down this week and surf the net for sum inspiration. Its a broad theme so you can pretty much do anything~i was thinking of sticking with global politics and issues n stuff...but take it all a step further and experiment and mature my work a lot more.....its really got me EXCITED about it now!!!!!hehe
Going back to New Years...well Im not calling them resolutions but moreso goals/aims...that I hope to achieve this year...i have quite few..can only remember these though...lol the most important ones i guess for me...
I still have 1 more week left of winter break which is ace but its gonna be JAMPACKED! Im meetin some friends who I havent seen for ages and Im also hoping to meet two friends from Congress - Anouschka and
ooOh!!I went RoLLer-BLadING today...I havent been since Summer School and that was like 5 months ago...awww...lol and OUCH!It was killer..hehe so unfit thats all im saying!..Im determined to keep it up though..Mon - Fri mornings i wlk newayz to the bus stop which is 15 mins n in the evenings im gonna rollerblade round my block for 1 hour..plus gotta eat healthy :) It has gone well today..Keep this updated on how it goes...
Lol...really random thought...but I think Ima dye my hair..feel like a change...maybe purple...who knows??!

11月5日 BoNfIrE nITe!BONfire niGhte!It was wikido..aint been to one in yonks!..so it was all kewl..hehe watched jus out side the scouts hut..pretty ace view.
Anyways...work was soooooooooo tiring today...im absolutely knackered!It was such a good laugh though!
Yesterday I felt that I had totally wasted the day...went out to buy fabric for my art with my ma n nani...we spent 3 hours..which was pointless really...so kinda grr...that i never got to any art!
Today was wrkn...n went to bonfire night..
Tomorrow Im hoping to work on my art and sort out the Fair Trade packs...im gonna have to go out n exchange the folders i got coz the FT stuff doesnt fit in..grrrr...hehe
Other than that...i need to print out sum fotos...to stick into my sketchbook...and work into the wire necklace i made with the fabric...and possibly spray paint the wire flower i made silver....hmm not too sure yet...basically need to update eveyrthing for monday...
errrr.......omgosh...u know what is a good tune!?....Mr Sean Paul!! - Kepp u warm...its such a good track to get ur groove on!(hehe)...check it out! "keeping u warm...i got the right temperature..my lovin is the way to go"..such a good rhythm!
You know ive been looking a unis n course....aarrgh!!...but i think i want to do photography...maybe with video and combine it with journalism or summat....ill get back to u

10月30日 heyyheyy... thought id type agen..jus 2 give an update on whats been happenin.... the week has been pretty laid back...although i feel really tired..work was so so yesterday..dont know why i volunteered to work today but I spose I could do with the money..hopefully now that im going to Barcelona!..Only worked 11am- 3pm..and it was SUPER DUPER busy...no kiddin...i mean id be one of those ppl who prolly buy things last minute not one of those EAGER BEAVERS!!hehe...oops.. Now im jus waiting for Iftari...yay...jus surfing the net really to pass time...researching unis and degrees...oh the fun....actually i should do a couple of things...email the ppl from the Solihull Fair Trade Steering Group...hmm...oh yeha and I need to annotate my sketchbook to get everything updated for the week...looking fwd to 3d..should be kewl!! hmmmmmmmmmmm......

10月26日 howdy!wowee...i havent posted a blog on here for agessss!(hehe)...oh hold on lemme change the colour i dont like this one....
awww...thats more like it..i love puuurple!
hmmm.....im soooooo tired today(hehe okies ill stop with the over emphasis of some words!) but i am tired though...went to bed at 12am coz i was fixing Sahd's laptop....then got up at 5.30am for sehri...went back to bed til 7.30am...the got ready and went into b'ham for 9.30 - 1pm...seminar was pretty good we discussed photography which im really into at the moment...but the lecture wasnt to my taste..it was on the Avante Gardes basically realism and impressionism....hehe oops found out that i have to give in my notes n they have to be marked...aarghhh...and ive doodled soooo much...lol....
other than that...jus got a few art supplies..and met with my sis, bro n cousin n headed back to home!...onyl to have like a half hour break then go out and meet Chris, Shelley and some other ppl to discuss the Fairtrade tlk and how we're gonna go about it....i was so tired...im surprised i barely concentrated!but it was wikid..shared lots of ideas and thought up lots of stuff which will defo be handy!hehe...then..here comes the great part...we had our photo taken which is gonna be sent off with the Press Release...and theyve picked my one....nooooooo......(have to emphasize that!)...im in the supermarket holding Fairtrade Bananas....hehe...hopefully will catch the reader's attention....
hmm........that all ive done really....and im tired....oh yeah spent some time with my 3 rabbits...Fonzie, Indie and Coco...well Indie n Coco more...need to be more tamer u see...
Anyways im off now...mite try my hand at cleaning my room and sortin out all of my art stuff....not much fun i know....hmm or i may just watch tv!!
